I am sure that each and every one of you knows or has known someone affected by cancer so you will understand why they want to support these charities.
They will be doing the bike ride on 2nd and 3rd June and will obviously be trying to raise as much money as possible. If you would like to support them there will be a collection point in the School Reception.
According to Cancer Research UK – someone is diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes but their work to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer has already saved millions of lives. This is why they want to help.
Mary Ann Evans Hospice treats terminally ill people with dignity and compassion. This is why they want to help.
So far we have received pledges and donations amounting to about £300! We will keep you up-to-date with their progress with weekly updates.
